When reallyenglish was set up in 2001, our aim was simple: to provide excellence in English language teaching via the internet.

Alongside our detailed understanding of and commitment to the Asian market was a belief in the power of the web to deliver an interactive, flexible and exciting way to learn English.

We accept that the Asian ELT market is often driven by the need to pass tests. However, we also believe that, to get good results in these tests, students must develop broader, more rounded skills, which can only be acquired through exceptional language teaching.

At reallyenglish we have a unique combination of technical and English language teaching expertise. More than 150 leading corporations have turned to us to provide customized teaching programs for their employees; some 80 universities and a number of language schools rely on us to run courses for their students. And many thousands of learners study with us directly.

Our products, which range from general English skills to highly specialized, business-focused courses, are interactive, fun and motivating. This is borne out by the fact that our courses have enjoyed completion rates of 70%-80%, significantly above the average, and are improving all the time. We offer a cost-effective, hassle-free service with web hosting and superb administrative back-up as standard. Our customers receive regular learner-tracking information, enabling them to monitor closely the progress of their employees/students.

We also believe in a close partnership between teachers and learners. We solicit comments directly from students after each lesson, helping us measure effectiveness and improve our products more quickly and responsively than our competitors. In addition, we give students regular progress reports and encouragement to ensure their continued engagement. A key to the way we work at reallyenglish is a commitment to development and growth through listening to feedback from our customers. We believe language is a living thing and we are continually bringing innovative products and services to market as well as refining our existing courses, a process in which input from our partners is invaluable.
