With over 100 years of collective experience creating and delivering Reallyenglish's market-leading suite of highly effective English learning products, we probably have the most talented team in the business!

Nigel Killick Founder and CEO

After graduating from Cambridge Nigel spent much of the next 9 years living and working in Asia before moving to Harvard Business School in 1999. In 2001 he graduated with distinction and the Business Plan for Reallyenglish. Nigel is closely involved in all aspects of the businesses and has made over 150 return trips to Asia!

Stephen Smith Finance Director

A graduate of Cambridge University and London Business School, Stephen has had a varied career, mostly working with or for blue chip companies. The main roles he has filled have been in strategy, IT, project management and leadership of finance and customer service shared service operations. These roles have taken him and his family to live most of the last 20 years in Ireland, Hungary and Switzerland.

Matthew Barnard Content Director

Matthew makes sure that we have engaging, effective, quality content written by professionals that is appropriate to the needs and level of our users and makes the most of the technology running the software. Matthew’s background is in teaching, teacher training, educational management and materials development. He is also a qualified hypnotherapist.

David Killick Company Secretary

After more than 25 years with the CDC, David has been closely involved with the founding, development and maturing of Reallyenglish, bringing all the financial and management skills he acquired through a career in international business. David is no longer as actively involved, but continues to advise the business as Company Secretary and Board Director.

Katsumi Saga Managing Director, Japan

Previously an Executive Director of ALC Press with 20 years' editorial and management experience. At ALC Katsumi was responsible for a wide range of English education areas. He received a BA in political science from Waseda.

Yoshihito Niizuma Chief Technical Officer

Yoshihito has wide-ranging programming and computer technical expertise, as well as three years with Cambridge Technology Partners. Yoshihito has a BS in Business Information Systems from Utah State University.

Hideki has worked with major companies in Japan as a global human resources development consultant for more than ten years. He has a BA from St. Paul’s University in Japan.


Jeremy Wegerer

Jeremy Wegerer Managing Director, Greater China

Jeremy has been the Managing Director of Reallyenglish China since 2007 as part of a 20-year career working in the education and technology fields in Mainland China. He has an MA in Classical Chinese Literature from the University of Colorado, near-native ability in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and is a CPA in the US.

Ben Porter Vice President

Ben was the Sales Director at Reallyenglish Japan for 9 years before moving to Singapore to lead the company's expansion into the ASEAN markets. He is fluent in Japanese and has a BA from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

Shuang Li (Mickey) Director REUK UK Client Services Manager

Mickey has a background in Industrial design and 10 years experience in Advertising/Design and Publishing. Prior to joining REUK, he spent 5 years as chief-editor of a cultural magazine in China. In 2013 he received an MSc in Managing Innovation and Project from the University of Sussex. He is a mountain-biking enthusiast and Tai Chi master.

Ming Fai Yeung (Cyrus) Director REUK Business Development Manager

Cyrus has a background in Engineering Management and worked in the engineering industry for more than 9 years. He has a BS from City University of Hong Kong, and has an MS in Engineering Management from Brunel University London.
